;a quote from the owner's grandfather and the foundation of company culture. The package design must pay homage to its roots and tell the story of all-natural, handmade grooming products. We found inspiration in vintage motorcycles; classic, clean and daring.
Natural, hand crafted packaging of tinted glass, screw off lids and cardboard branded with labels telling the story of quality and trust.
The product system needed a streamlined and easily recognizable look with the ability to grow as new scents and new lines are added. It needed to differentiate itself from competitors in effectiveness, quality, honesty and trustworthiness.
The label system is built for simplicity, flexibility and recognizability.
A shield offers a bounding shape to hold information. Two stripes, a nod to vintage motorcycles, frame the shield. Horizontal lines complete the compartmentalization of the label system. The large type of the product category first catches your eye. Then you see the product types and last, the scent reinforced by color.
The back system lays out the content simply, legibly. The W/J mark reinforces the Weldon Jack brand followed by product type.
